Launching Paper-Based Compostable Capsules in the Netherlands
At VML, we developed the Dutch launch campaign for Nespresso’s new home-compostable paper coffee capsules. The campaign introduced a more sustainable way to enjoy Nespresso coffee, highlighting innovation through a natural, tactile aesthetic.
To bring the message to life, we adapted the beautiful paper art originally created for the French market and extended it across a wide range of touchpoints. The intricate textures and organic shapes perfectly reflected the product’s eco-friendly story.
Our creative roll-out covered out-of-home, print, display banners, store windows, and construction site billboards — supported by Nespresso’s international TV commercial featuring George Clooney. The campaign reached audiences across all major Dutch cities, making sustainability visible in every corner of the urban landscape.
